To provide guidance and recommendations to institutions regarding captive management of rodent, insectivore, lagomorph, hyracoidea, scandentia, and macroscelidea taxa in North America, and to facilitate activities and programs that support global conservation efforts for rodent, insectivore, lagomorph, hyracoidea, scandentia, and macroscelidea taxa.
