Walk the Conservation Walk
Here
are a few things you can do yourself to “Walk the Conservation Walk”
Start a compost pile. Compost
your leaves, yard debris and kitchen scraps.
Clean your windows with crumpled up newspapers and vinegar
and water instead of chemical products.
Don't leave your water running.
Turn the heat down and wear warmer clothes.
Use re-usable cups, dishes and flatware.
Carpool, use public transit, ride your bike or walk instead
of driving.
Use scrap paper for informal notes to yourself and others.
Don't buy things with excess packaging.
